To enroll your student at NCHS, you must complete the online registration process.
Once your online enrollment is complete, the school office will contact you regarding your next steps.

School Based Mental Health Counseling
Corsica River Mental Health Services provides school-based mental health counseling in our building with a therapist who is able to provide counseling services for a variety of students' needs.
If you are interested in enrolling your student, please contact their school counselor.
Next Generation Scholars
NCHS is proud to be a Next Generation Scholars school! NGS enhances college and career awareness, as well as college completion, for low-income Maryland high school students.
Activities in the program include helping students determine career interests; creating awareness of how high school preparation, college coursework completion, and career goals connect; offering exposure to career pathways through workforce volunteer learning assignments; and preparing students for college and career through interviewing and job shadowing opportunities.
Next Generation Scholars Courses
4 credits of English
4 credits of Math (including Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2)
3 credits of Lab Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics**)
3 credits of Social Science (U.S. History, World History, Government)
2 credits of the same world language
Students must attain a 2.5 GPA to qualify
Courses in bold are beyond state graduation requirements
**A 3rd lab science may be substituted for Physics
