Congratulations to graduating seniors Austin Alexander and Saleta Nichols for being awarded Jake Schertz Academic Wrestling Scholarships! These scholarships are awarded to Bayside Conference wrestlers who excel in the classroom and on the mat. Austin will be wrestling at Alderson Broaddus University and Saleta will be wrestling at East Stroudsburg University next year! This award is in honor of Jake Schertz, a former wrestler at Wicomico County High School who was tragically killed in an accident shortly after graduation. The Schertzs honor his memory through this program, and we are honored to have two winners! #ColonelTOUGH #classof2023

Congratulations to our varsity baseball coach, Mr. Ryan Blanchfield, for being named the North Bayside Coach of the Year! Coach Blanchfield's impact goes far beyond wins and championships - he is a role model, mentor, friend, and brother to the team. He has created a family that looks out for each other. When we lost our SRO Lucas Nagel this year, Coach Blanchfield brought the team together and made sure every single player and coach felt supported and heard.
