All fourth and fifth grade students that took the Maryland Comprehensive Assessment Program (MCAP) at GES last spring will bring home their assessment results today. Please check your child's book bag. This year students in third through fifth grade will complete MCAP after spring break.

Coming soon! Pre-Kindergarten enrollment is opening in early April for eligible four year olds. Necessary for enrollment: child's birth certificate, child's immunization record, proof of residency, and proof of income. Dear Parents,
Our 5th grade students will be taking the MISA (Maryland Integrated Science Assessment) on March 14th and 15th. Makeup assessments will occur starting on March 16th and run through March 24th. The test consists of four 40-minute sessions.
Ways to Support Your Child:
-Students should be well rested, meaning a full night’s sleep.
-Students should drink plenty of water.
-Students should be present and on time for each session. They will complete two sessions each day.
-Morning Session - 9:30-10:30 am
-Afternoon Session- 1:00- 2:00 pm
-Students should be in attendance on all testing days (Please avoid any appointments during the school day on these days, if possible).
All personal electronic equipment not related to testing is prohibited, including Fitbits, smart watches, etc. Students will use their school-assigned laptop for MISA.
