In celebration of North Caroline High School’s annual homecoming, a fun-filled week of events will take place from Monday, Oct. 2nd through Saturday, Oct. 7th. Events include daily themed clothing (daily raffle drawing for gift cards for those participating), a class competition, a pep rally, a parade, the homecoming football game and presentation of the homecoming court, and the annual dance. Important dates follow:
Spirit Week Clothing Themes (all attire must follow the county dress code and no hats):
- Monday, Oct. 2nd - Pajama Day
- Tuesday, Oct. 3rd - Barbenheimer Day
- Wednesday, Oct. 4th - Jersey Day
- Thursday, Oct. 5th - Neon Day
- Friday, Oct. 6th - Ridge Pride Day
- Daily incentive raffle drawings for participants
Wednesday, Oct. 4th - Class Competition 7:00pm in the NCHS Gym. Entry is $5 or 15 BARKS
Friday, Oct. 6th:
- Pep Rally during 4th period
- Homecoming Parade, 5:00pm, Market St. Denton, contact Mia Schreyer or Claire Blue to participate
- Game and presentation of the NCHS Homecoming Court
Saturday, Oct. 7th - Homecoming Dance 8:00 to 10:00pm
- Ticket sales during all lunches in the NCHS lobby through Oct. 4th
- Tickets are $15, cash only. No tickets will be sold at the gate
- Obligations have to be paid before you can buy a ticket
- Students who are chronically absent will not be able to participate
- Dress: Semi-Formal
- Belly Bustin' Grill food truck will be at the dance
