Homecoming Participation Important Information
Per NCHS administration and Ms. Sullivan, to be eligible to attend the Homecoming Dance on October 4th, students must demonstrate consistent school attendance!
Students with chronic absenteeism (missing 10% or more of school days leading up to October 4th (whether excused or unexcused) will not be eligible to purchase a ticket or attend
Students must have no more than 3 unexcused absences from the start of the school year through September 27th (one week prior to homecoming)
Special circumstances (such as documented medical reasons and family emergencies) may be reviewed by the administration on a case-by-case basis
Notice About Ticket Sales
If you are planning on buying a ticket and attending the Homecoming Dance please read this completely as it details importation information and requirements.
Please do the following before September 24th:
Pay any obligations you have
If you are on the obligation list, you will not be able to buy a ticket
Turn in your guest forms
Guest forms are available in the front office
If you plan on bringing a guest the forms need to be turned in by September 23rd
Ticket Sales Reminders
Tickets are $15, cash only
Tickets will be sold during all lunches in the lobby Wednesday September 24th - Wednesday October 1st
No tickets will be sold at the door
Homecoming Court
Nominations open on Thursday September 18th
If you would like to run for court you may begin campaigning now
Students will nominate members of their graduating class for Homecoming Court via Google Forms
Top 5 for juniors, sophomores, and freshmen prince and princess
Top 10 for senior prince and princess
Top nominations will go on the Google Forms ballot
Homecoming court will be announced in the afternoon on September 22
Vote for Homecoming king and queen on Thursday October 2nd via Google Form
The King and Queen will be announced and crowned during halftime at the varsity football game on Friday October 4th
Spirit Week
Monday September 29th - Battle of the Classes
Seniors wear black
Juniors wear blue
Sophomores wear white
Freshmen wear grey
Staff wear all 4 colors
Tuesday September 30th - Duo/Trio Day
Grab a buddy or two and dress the same from head to toe
Wednesday October 1st - Talkin' 'Bout My Generation
Staff - the after life
Seniors - senior citizens
Juniors - adults/career
Sophomores - kids/elementary
Freshmen - babies
Thursday October 2nd - Disney Day
Dress as your favorite Disney character
Friday October 3rd - Bulldog Pride
Class Competition
Monday September 29th, 7:00pm in the NCHS Gym
Entry fee of $5.00 or 1 gold BARK
Each graduation class will form a team - anyone can play
Seniors wear black, juniors wear blue, sophomores wear white, freshmen wear grey
Spectators are welcome!
Pep Rally
Friday October 3rd
During 4th period in the stadium
School will run on a modified schedule
Parade
Friday October 3rd
Line up starting at 3:30pm at the HAAPS building in Denton
Parade starts at 5:00pm on Market Street
Theme - Beating Kent Island or Rio Carnival
Any clubs, sports teams and other organizations interested in participating in the parade should reach out to Ms. Sullivan or Reece Bisesi by September 26th
We are in need of open top vehicles for our homecoming court
If you have a vehicle and are willing to be a part of our parade please reach out to Ms. Sullivan or Reece Bisesi
