Attention NCHS students, staff, and community! Homecoming 2022 is just around the corner and we have great events planned to celebrate. Important dates to keep in mind include:
- Spirit Week - Monday, October 10th through Friday, October 14th
- Class Competition - Tuesday, October 11th
- Pep Rally - Friday, October 14th
- Parade - Friday, October 14th
- Football Game & Court - Friday, October 14th
- Dance - Saturday, October 15th

Spirit Week - Please, No Hats Allowed Any Day
- Monday, October 10th is Zoom Day - Nicely dressed on top and lazy on the bottom
- Tuesday, October 11th is Little Miss/Mr. Day - Dress like the children’s books/current white lies meme trend
- Wednesday, October 12th is Pink Day to support October as breast cancer awareness month dress in pink like a mean girl
- Thursday, October 13th is Adam Sandler Day - Dress to represent your favorite Adam Sandler movie or skit
- Friday, October 14th is Bulldog Pride Day - Wear your favorite Bulldog gear
To encourage participation in Spirit Week, each day during lunch, SGA representatives will give a ticket to everyone who is dressed in the daily theme. Tickets will be entered into a raffle for a variety of gift cards. Three tickets will be pulled each day, Monday through Thursday and ten tickets will be pulled on Friday. Winners will be announced at the end of each day and called to pick up their gift cards.
Homecoming Court
- Students will nominate members of their graduating class for the court on Tuesday, October 4th during 4th period via Google forms.
- Voting for the court will take place Thursday, October 6th during 4th period via Google forms.
- Voting for Homecoming King and Queen will take place Thursday, October 13th during 4th period via Google forms.
- NCHS Homecoming King and Queen will be announced and crowned during half-time at the varsity football game on Friday, October 14th.
Class Competition
- To be held Tuesday, October 11th in the NCHS Gym
- Competition begins at 7:00pm
- Entry fee of $5.00
Pep Rally
- To be held during school hours on Friday, October 14th (school half-day)
- Half-day Pep Rally schedule as follows:
- First period 7:50 - 8:40
- Second period 8:45 - 9:15
- Dismiss for Pep Rally to the football stadium at 9:15
- Pep Rally 9:20 - 10:20
- Fourth Period (no third period today) 10:20 - 12:00
Lunches -
- A Lunch 10:20 - 10:45
- B Lunch 10:45 - 11:20
- C Lunch 11:10 - 11:35
- D Lunch 11:35 - 12:00
Parade
- Line up at 3:30pm at the HAPS Building on Friday, October 14th
- Parade begins at 5:00pm
- Contact Riley Walstrum, Mia Schreyer, Riley Belote, or Claire Blue to participate
Football Game
- NCHS Bulldogs vs. Kent Island Buccaneers
- Friday, October 14th at 7:00pm
English Garden Party Homecoming Dance
- Tickets - $15.00 per person
- Ticket sales (cash only) - Wednesday, October 5th through Wednesday, October 12th
- No tickets will be sold at the gate
- Obligations must be paid before you can buy a ticket
- Dress - Semi-formal
- Outside guests - Forms for outside guests are located in the front office
- Pick-up outside guest forms no later than Friday, October 7th
- Mr. Spiker must review forms and approve all outside guests
- The dance includes an English afternoon tea station
- Additional concessions available from Belly Bustin Grill and Sno Angels
