The North Caroline High School Leo Club is sponsoring its annual drive to collect non-perishable foods for the Ridgely and Goldsboro food pantries. Recommended items include:
- Campbell’s Chunky Soups
- Chef Boyardee items
- Salt & Pepper/Spices
- Cooking Oil
- Canned Chicken/Tuna
- Progresso Soup
- Canned Fruits & Vegetables
- Pancake Mix
- Crackers
- Olives
- Spam
- Juice
- Cereal
- Ramen Noodles
Please do not include expired foods, perishable items, or dried beans.
Donations should be made in first period classes and the class with the most donations will win donuts for the class. In addition, each personal donation of 20 items entitles the “donator” to an entry in a drawing for a variety of gift cards. If you do not have a first period class, you can still participate! Simply donate to the first period class of your choice.
