Final Regular Newsletter of 2024-2025 School Year
Dear PES Families,
As we send out our final regular newsletter of the 2024–2025 school year, we want to take a moment to thank each of you—our students, families, and incredible staff—for an amazing year filled with fun, growth, academic achievement, and so many memorable milestones.
While our weekly updates will pause for now, we’ll continue to share periodic summer updates during July and August. Regular newsletters will return the week before school begins.
Also, be on the lookout in mid to late August for our traditional welcome back letters, class assignments, school supply lists, and more—all to help get ready for an exciting start to the 2025–2026 school year!

Please read our full newsletter for all the latest PES and CCPS news. This includes information from our school, the larger school district, and some of our community partners offering resources to our families.
The last day for students is Tuesday, June 17th, and it will be a half day of school with a 1 PM dismissal time. In addition, we will hold our annual Preston Panther PTO sponsored Ice Cream Social and Yearbook signing on Monday, June 16th. All students are encouraged to bring their yearbooks if they purchased one, and all students without yearbooks will be provided with an alternate item to get signed while they enjoy their ice cream! Thank you to our Preston Panther PTO for sponsoring this event!
