Thank you to LNT Seafood for catering our custodian luncheon this year! #pespantherpride

It is with great pleasure that Preston Elementary School is able to announce that Mrs. Deanne Waters will be the new Assistant Principal of PES as of July 1st! Mrs. Waters has most recently served in the role of Reading Resource Teacher at PES. Mrs. Waters has shown us all since she joined our PES family a commitment to our staff and students that shines through every day, and in this new role, we are excited to see her continue to impact our school family and community in many positive ways. Mrs. Waters is ready to hit the ground running, and we are excited for an amazing 23-24 school year with our Panthers! Very soon Mrs. Waters will be reaching out to our community with a welcome and introduction. Congratulations Mrs. Waters, we are excited to see you begin this new journey here at PES!

We would like to take this moment to express our deepest thanks to Mrs. Jackie Murray for serving as the Assistant Principal for Preston Elementary School for the past four years! We wish Mrs. Murray nothing but the best as she begins her new adventure at Greensboro Elementary School next year! Thank you Mrs. Murray! You will always be a Panther to us!

We would like to take this opportunity to extend a thank you and express our gratitude to our entire Preston community, our PES staff, PES Panther PTO, parents and families, local businesses, law enforcement partners, our Preston local government, and all other stakeholders that have made this school year at Preston Elementary School so special! Our Panthers have had such a fantastic year, and that success is due to a team effort that involves our entire Preston community and family. We are looking forward to the next school year already! These four wonderful members of our school family are going to be missed by all of us!
