Our very own Mr. Rosario is back at it with his trusty duck! This time, the duo headed to the Great American State Fair in Washington, D.C., to help celebrate America's 250th birthday.

Their journey began at Luray Caverns before heading to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, where they took in the views from the SkyBridge and even conquered the rapids on the Pigeon River.

Today, we celebrate the retirements of Mr. Colin Joseph and Mr. Gary Bee. With more than 60 years of combined service, they have been pillars of the NCHS Social Studies Department—more affectionately known as the West Wing.
Alongside many other NCHS legends, they helped shape the traditions, culture, and sense of community that make the Ridge what it is today. Their impact reaches far beyond the classroom walls. Through countless lessons, conversations, and moments of guidance, they helped shape generations of Bulldogs.
While neither has a concrete plan for what comes next, we want them both to know this: no matter where the road leads, all roads lead back home. And their home will always be North Caroline High School.
As one final tug at the heartstrings, we captured a last photo of Mr. Joseph, Mr. Ward, and Mr. McCormick walking out of NCHS together—a moment that symbolizes the closing of a remarkable chapter in the story of the Ridge.
Mr. Bee and Mr. Joseph, thank you for your dedication, your wisdom, your humor, and your unwavering commitment to our students and school community. The halls of NCHS will not be quite the same without you, but your legacy will continue to walk them every day.
You will be greatly missed. 💙🐾

This year, we're ducking out for the summer and taking a little rubber ducky along for the ride. 🦆 Stay tuned for all of the quack-tastic fun, feathered friends, and duck-lightful destinations our staff discovers along the way!
Until then, we're signing off for the summer. So long for now... we'll be back before you can say "quack!"
