On Monday, October 2nd, 11 CCPS students attended MBRT's first-ever Industry Day at McCormick Global Headquarters. Here, students had the opportunity to learn about different careers at McCormick, and participate in hands-on break-out sessions with flavorists, sensory scientists, and culinary development chefs.
Following the festivities of Industry Day, students then attended the MBRT Annual Meeting, where they observed how different community partners make Maryland Business Roundtable for Education all that we are! They had the opportunity to hear from Maryland's Lt. Governor, Aruna Miller, as well as the viral Chef Stretch! In all, it was a great day filled with learning, connection, and exposure to career options within the state of Maryland.

Golf competed in their final regular season match today at the Hyatt. The team took 4th place. Taryn Brandt and Will Davis both shoot 41 and finish in a tie for 3rd. The team travels back to the Hyatt next week for Districts and the State Qualifier. Good luck!

Football wins to move to 5-0 on the season!
On Wednesday our Cross Country team competed at James M Bennett. Both the Boys and Girls teams finished in 2nd place. Aidan Knotts and Darly Ortega-Miguel place in the top 10 individually for the boys. Brook Sullivan and Emma Davis place in the top 10 for the girls. Great work!
Tonight's results. JV Football moves to 5-0 on the season. Volleyball wins in exciting fashion in the final set. Golf places 3rd at Hog Neck with Taryn Brandt taking 3rd place as an individual with a score of 43. Great work Bulldogs!

The Golf team competed today at Queenstown Harbor. The team finished 3rd with a final score of 191. Taryn Brandt tied for 2nd with a 38 and Will Davis shoots a season best 42 and finishes 8th.
